We'll discuss where your session will take place, which parts of your home we'll use (if you've chosen an in-home session), and what wardrobe choices would feel most like you. Now it's your session day! It's my goal that you truly enjoy our time together and make beautiful memories with your family. I'll guide and prompt you while also knowing that sometimes when things "fall apart," that's where the magic happens. I leave plenty of time for breaks, snacks, or nursing so that everyone stays happy and content. This is the fun part, where it all comes together!

And maybe the most anticipated step of all?? A few weeks after your session, I'll deliver your gallery of fully edited images! I believe that the entire story is told when you don't have to choose your favorites, so I carefully select and edit the best for you. You'll get 50+ beautiful snapshots of this special season in your life, with the people you love the most. Print away! They're all yours.

Sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos.

We check in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.

If you have a window with good light streaming through, we can absolutely make family photos work in your home! Your home doesn't have to be Pinterest-perfect to create beautiful images you'll love. We just need window light and the people you love!

I love the idea of in-home family photos, but i'm worried my home won't photograph well. how do i know if it will?

Absolutely! Every family is different, and that's why I take time to get to know you before your session. I want to know personalities, what you love to do together, and how you feel about having your photos taken. All of this helps me to plan your session so we can capture real moments and memories.

what if my family feels reserved about taking photos? will we be able to capture good moments?

In-home sessions aren't mandatory! While I do love shooting in-home because I find that I can truly capture your story there, if you have a location you love that's outdoors we can do that, too! We can talk about what the right option for your family is on our call.

Does our session have to take place in our home? What if we want an outdoor session?
