As a Huntsville, AL newborn photographer, one of my favorite parts about my job is getting to connect with other mamas. Savannah and I met via Instagram and connected through our mutual love of reading and the Lord. She and her husband, Nate, moved here to Huntsville not too long ago and found out they were expecting their first baby! Let me must tell you – their sweet baby Flora is one lucky little girl. Her parents’ love for one another and her is so evident. Throughout the entire session, they kept telling each other how great the other looked, and they couldn’t stop smiling. It was so much fun to be able to witness this growing family’s bond right from the start!
We decided to have Flora’s newborn session outdoors, and it was beautiful! At seven weeks, she was more alert and starting to show her personality. We went to Marbut’s Bend in Elkmont, a beautiful little nature area with a field, gravel pathway and boardwalk. It gave us just the right amount of shade and some gorgeous glowy light. Savannah and Nate were naturals in front of the camera, and Miss Flora was an angel!
