As soon as I walked into Mary Ruth and Tripp’s home, I felt the love shared within their family. They had just welcomed their first child, Henley, and Mary Ruth’s mom was over to help rock the baby while they prepared for their lifestyle newborn session. These new parents welcomed me in with warm smiles and kind words, showing me around the home that they built near the area that they both grew up in.
They have both taken to parenthood beautifully. As soon as Henley needed anything, they both jumped to calm him down and give him what he needed. But they did it all with smiles and encouragement for one another. I love that they are a team and that Henley will always know his mom and dad have his back.
I absolutely loved Henley’s light and airy nursery. It was evident that Mary Ruth had put lots of thought into making his space cozy yet bright. It’s filled with special treasures, like the blanket her mom’s Bible study made for him, and the Noah’s ark globe sitting on his dresser.
Capturing this precious family was an honor. I wish them all the best as they grow as a family!
