I'll contact you through email, and we can schedule a call so I can learn more about what you're looking for in your newborn session. Once you've booked, we'll begin planning for your session! I'll get to know who your family really is and what about this season you want to remember. Newborn sessions take place in-home, so we'll talk about which areas of your home we'll use. I'll also help you plan your wardrobe with pieces that are true to who you are. I'll guide you as much as you'd like so that on session day, you know just what to expect!

Your baby is here! I'll have your due date penciled in, and we'll schedule the date within a couple of weeks of your newborn's arrival. It's my goal that you truly enjoy our time together and make beautiful memories with your family. I'll guide and prompt you while also knowing that sometimes when things "fall apart," that's where the magic happens. I leave plenty of time for breaks, snacks, or feeding so that everyone stays happy and content. This is the fun part, where it all comes together!

And maybe the most anticipated step of all?? A few weeks after your session, I'll deliver your gallery of fully edited images! I believe that the entire story is told when you don't have to choose your favorites, so I carefully select and edit the best for you. You'll get 50+ beautiful snapshots of this special season in your life, with the people you love the most. Print away! They're all yours.

Once your date is officially reserved, we'll send over a few goodies to help you prepare for the big day. We're happy to serve as a resource for vendor recommendations, timeline guidance and more!

Sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos.

We check in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.

You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within about three weeks of your wedding. At that time, we'll also send over details about preserving your images through prints and albums.

If you have a window with good light streaming through, we can absolutely make newborn photos work in your home! Your home doesn't have to be Pinterest-perfect to create beautiful images you'll love. We just need window light and the people you love!

I love the idea of in-home newborn photos, but i'm worried my home won't photograph well. how do i know if it will?

No, we'll schedule the date after baby is here. I know that your due date is more like a guess date, so when you book your session I'll pencil in the month you're due. Then when baby is here and you feel up to contacting me, we'll get the exact date scheduled.

do i need to select my newborn session date upon booking my session?

I like to recommend scheduling newborn sessions within the first couple of weeks of baby's birth, but that is not set in stone. I believe that we can capture beautiful memories of your newborn and family even if baby's a little older, so if you feel like you'd like more time, that is fine!
