Mooresville, Alabama is a beautiful little town near Huntsville, filled with historic homes, churches, and gardens. With so many charming settings in the town, it’s a perfect option for family photos. I love photographing here and am always in love with the dreamy results we get.
I first met Savannah on Instagram where we randomly decided to meet up for coffee. She and I hit it off right away and bonded over our love of reading, Jesus, and all things truth, beauty, and goodness.

What struck me when I was first getting to know Savannah was her desire to love her daughter well and raise her up in the Lord from the start. When we met, she was getting ready to give birth to her daughter, Flora, and was already thinking about what it meant to be an excellent mother. Her love for Flora shone through everything we talked about, and it’s only grown since.
You can see that love all over the Egan family’s photos, and Flora’s joy is clearly a product of that.
One of my favorite parts of this session was watching dad Nate admire his wife and daughter. Anytime he watched as they were in front of my lens, he was so present and never took his eyes off his girls.
This Mooresville, Alabama session was an absolute joy, and I left feeling encouraged and inspired to make sure that the love I have for my family is on display every single day.
