Capturing the Cates family for their lifestyle newborn session was such a dream! Lori and Zack welcomed their second daughter, Laine, and big sister Claire was just smitten! With a beautiful, light-filled nursery and a gorgeous front yard, their Huntsville, AL home made for perfect setting to document this stage of life.
When I photograph a newborn session, I aim to capture a mixture of smiling portraits, authentic emotions, and close-up details. I have three little boys and know all too well how fleeting the season is. So I want to make sure that we get all of the moments you never want to forget.
The Cates family fully trusted my vision for their Huntsville newborn session. I loved that Lori embraced her older daughter’s energy and let her have a little dance session in the nursery, then turned right around and cuddled her newborn for some beautiful portraits and details shots.
